<p>Hollow storage drum has a smooth or fabric-covered outer surface which is permanently rotated, and is associated with a disc which is independent of it but turns coaxially with it. The surface of the disc is adherent. The disc is also reciprocated axially, so that it alternately emerges in front of the drum and disappears within it. In the first position it hooks up the yarn to cause the winding of a reserve on the drum; in the second position, it stops this winding.</p> |
