The unit filters fine particles and dust from air, humidifying it. A flow of air through it, takes place against hydrostatic pressure. The air is repeatedly recirculated under water, and before release from the device, is forced through a water curtain. The unit may be largely constructed of plastic. Pref. a dust suction tube may be fastened to the coupling (25) at the air inlet opening (1), where a coarse filter (22) may also be inserted. Finely perforated tubes in the vessel (5) distribute the air; they may be unscrewed. There is a finely perforated removable plate in the vessel (5) on the air supply tube (1).
