A setting arrangement consists of a setting frame and letters made of plastic. The plastic is polycarbonate and the frame (6) has grooves (6.1) which run over its width and accommodate the letters (1). The frame has a holding section (7) which can be removed or swivelled away. The section (7) closes off the groove ends. The holding section is held in place using a holding member (7.1). The letters are of varying width.
