The gas treatment appts. comprises one or more rectangular frames made of profiled lengths and panels holding inserted packets of gas treatment bodies such as droplet separators, uniform flow director profiles, filters, etc.. The frame (1) dimensions on the inflow or outflow side are larger than the overall dimensions of the gas treatment body (8) packets (13,14). Packet (13,14) locking bars (10,12) are present on every frame (1) and hold the packet (13,14) within the frame (1). When inserted, the locking bars (10,12) compress the frame (1) dimension to less than that of the relaxed gas treatment body (8) packets (13,14) alongside which they rest.
