An anti-theft security (1) for trailers of hauling vehicles having a connecting hook (2) on the wagon shaft (3), has a `shoe' (4) which slides over the hook. An opening (5) and a hollow chamber (25) is provided for the hook. An opening (6) for a lock (10) exists in the base (11) of the shoe in the region of the hook eye. A boring protection (20) is located on the coverplate (21) and opposite the lock opening, and a rubber element (30) is rigidly connected to the shoe, and fully encloses it as far as inlet opening for the hook.
