The invention relates to a method for treating animal manure, the volatile ammonia being stripped from the manure with the aid of a carrier gas stream, the ammonia then being separated from the carrier gas, preferably air, and normally being converted into an ammonium salt. Separation of the ammonia from the carrier gas takes place with the aid of a gas separation membrane. The ammonia extracted as an ammonium salt can be combined with the manure to be treated, after which the manure obtained can be spread on the land. |
