A headrest support for a vehicle seat has a support element (2) which is mounted on the seatrest. A frame (4) has a pivotable mounting to the support, and a cushion (5) is fixed to the frame, the frame and cushion forming the body (3) of the headrest. The frame also has a friction section (45) which is formed as one piece with the frame, and which is in friction contact with the support. At least one wall section (44) is also formed as a single piece with the frame and is in contact with the support element.
