Coin and note check criteria alteration and input channel locking procedure

The criteria alteration and input channel locking procedure involves input channels through which coins or banknotes are entered into the machine. Each input channel has at least one entry option which uses electronic checking and storing of the money to prevent entry of a number of false coin/banknotes, or to improve the checking criteria. Entry options may be based on entry of additional coins/notes being prevented as a result of the amount or type of coins/notes previously entered, or until a certain period of time or number of games has passed after entry of the previous coins/notes. Several entry options may simultaneously apply to any one entry channel.
