The press comprises guide bars (3) which run along the movement direction of the punch (1). There are guide shoes (4) fixed on the punch. The guide shoes hold rollers by which they lie on the guide bars. The contact surfaces of the rollers are bordered and contained by guide bars. The guide shoes and guide bars are arranged in pairs at the opposite sides of the punch.
