<p>At least one weft carrier is at the end of a flexible strip of at least 2 belts. An upper and a lower strip guide are for its transit outside the shed. A rotary toothed system engages perforations in the strip and moves it reciprocally. At least one of the belts, other than the inner, engages the system only in the upper and lower guide zones so that each forms a floating loop between the outer ends of the guides and spaced from the system. The successive belts are engaged by the teeth such that the number of perforations of the belts, from inside to out, increases between 2 teeth belonging respectively to the upper and lower guide zones.</p> |
