The installation forms a rotary piece of equipment which is continuous, has multiple tubes and is of the indirect contact type. The installation comprises three basic parts, the first of which forms a product preheater, with an inlet chamber and an outlet chamber with the preheated product, said product accessing the preheater via a lifting device. The second part forms a dryer or dehydration chamber, this being in direct communication with the preheater. This second part includes a diesel (fuel oil) burner on the outside. The third part, which can be used only when drying grain, forms a cooler and has a fan (ventilator)/air impeller which operates in countercurrent to the product or grain. These three parts or bodies have tubes via which the product circulates, said tubes rotating in synchronization, and outside said tubes the heating or cooling gases circulate. <IMAGE>
