PURPOSE: To maintain the power supply to a power supply line of a fuel cell as far as possible even in the case where other power supply source such as a commercial power source, etc., stops the supply of power by power stoppage, or the like. CONSTITUTION: A power unit comprises an inverter 2, which converts the output DC power of a fuel cell 1 into AC power and outputs it to a power supply line PL, and an inverter controller IC, which controls the active power and the reactive power so that the active power outputted by the inverter 2 may amount to a set active power value and that the reactive power may amount to a set reactive power value, and the inverter controller IC of which is so constituted as to change the output voltage of the inverter 2, according to the deviation between the reactive power detected by the output power detection means PD and the set reactive power value. The inverter controller IC is equipped with a check means which hinders the output voltage of the inverter 2 from becoming large than the set voltage, regardless of the signal of deviation between the reactive power detected by the output power detection means PD and the set reactive power value. |
