PURPOSE: To provide a data transmitter with which different pieces of NVOD data can be continuously generated while having respectively different time intervals. CONSTITUTION: An MO changer 12 reproduces compile data AVD1 -AVD3 from MO disks 101 -103 . A selection/distribution circuit 14, FIFO memories 161 and 163 and decoder circuits 181 and 183 further generate NVOD data MVA1 and MVA2 of a second film successively to NVOD data MVA of a first film and output them to communication channels CH1 and CH3. The selection/distribution circuit 14, FIFO memories 162 and 164 and decoder circuits 181 and 18, generate the NVOD data MVA and output them to the communication channels CH1 and CH3 and together with its end, the transmission of NVOD data is stopped. |
