PURPOSE: To realize the enhancement of the quality of a photographed image by conducting the output gain regulation of a photomultiplier tube in the case of photographing a phantom based on the channel of an energy peak measured for a nuclide. CONSTITUTION: A nonlinear circuit set area 21 for storing the coefficient for regulating the slope of the nonlinear circuit of a nonlinear circuit section 16 at each nuclide is provided. A controller 11 sets the nonlinear circuit according to the corresponding coefficient in response to the nuclide to be used. The output gain of a photomultiplier tube 15 is so regulated that the nuclide X used for photographing a phantom when the energy peak discriminated for the nuclide to be a reference is, for example, set to 1000ch becomes energy peak of the channel obtained from other plurality of nuclides. A linearity correction is conducted at each coaxial tomographic image and each pixel according to the data acquired by using a three-dimensional phantom.
