PURPOSE: To enable a customer himself (or herself) to optionally register and order an individual commodity code by allowing an ordering computer to convert inputted individual ordering information into prescribed ordering information based upon a customer's own conversion table. CONSTITUTION: A bar code decoder 2c is connected to a telephone set body 2d having a push key 2e. The decoder 2c decodes a digital pulse string inputted from a bar code reader 2b and generates a commodity code C3 . A member's code C1 and a commodity delivery date code C2 necessary for a customer to order a commodity are inputted through the key 2e as respective values. An ordering computer 3a generates an internal processing code CI based upon codes C1 to C3 inputted from a customer device 2-1 through a telephone line, a commodity table 3b and a period table 3c. A host computer 4a executes the issue of a statement of delivery and a bill, an instruction for deliverying commodities and commodity management such as stock management based upon the internal processing code C1 and a commodity file 4b. |
