PURPOSE: To reproduce a video signal coded with high efficiency with high quality by setting at least one of reproduced preceding and succeeding frames in a reproduced first inter-coding processed one. CONSTITUTION: A first inter-coding processed frame is reproduced by decoding second coded data setting a reproduced prescribed frame as reference. Third coded data is decoded setting such reproduced preceding and succeeding frames as reference, and a second inter-coding processed frame is reproduced, and also, at least one of the reproduced preceding and succeeding frames is set as the first inter--coding processed frame. In other words, a receiver, after reproducing original frame data F0, F6 from transmission frame data F0X, F6XX formed by applying in-frame coding processing, reproduces the original frame data F0, F6 on the basis of reproduced frame data F0, F6 and transmission frame data F3X. |
