<p>PURPOSE: To obtain a toner preventing sticking in a non-image area and capable of varying image density in accordance with voltage impressed on a control electrode by incorporating a colorant and a bonding resin contg. polyester resin synthesized from a polyol component and a carboxylic acid component as starting materials. CONSTITUTION: This toner is a toner 16 used in a recorder adopting a dry ink jetting system and contains at least a colorant and a bonding resin contg. polyester resin synthesized from a polyol component and a carboxylic acid component as starting materials. The dielectric constant of the toner 16 is >=3.0 and the ratio of the bulk density to the true specific gravity is preferably >=0.3. Since the polyester resin is contained, the toner 16 has low triboelectric chargeability with a control electrode and the electrostatic chargeability of the toner 16 is not deteriorated.</p> |
