摘要

PURPOSE: To provide a radiation intensifying screen and a radiation image conversion panel which give images with improved sensitivity and sharpness. CONSTITUTION: In a radiation intensifying screen which is made by arranging phosphor layers formed in multilayer on a base and then placing protective layers on them, letting the average particle diameter and the particle diameter distribution in each layer of phosphor particles constituting the phosphor layers be R andσrespectively, each layer satisfies the inequality of 0<σ/R<=0.5 and the average particle diameter of each layer is made smaller as it is closer to the base.
