<p>PURPOSE: To detect the flow rate of intake air flow in both forward and reverse directions with high accuracy and at high speed by reducing the resistance value per unit area of heating resistor formed adjacent to a upstream side and a downstream side on a board as the heating resistor mutually approach. CONSTITUTION: The resistance patterns of heating resistor 1a, 2a are, for instance, so formed as their widths become narrower and so arranged as both are close to each other and dense as approaching both ends of board 4 so that the resistance value per unit unit area is increased, and reversely, so that the resistance value becomes smaller as the resistor 1a, 2a approach. When the resistor 1a is provided at the intake upstream side and the resistor 1b is at intake downstream side, at a normal air flow (forward flow) 7 forward flow air flow rate is measured by the resistor 1a with higher heat radiation effect, and at a reverse flow time reverse flow air flow rate is measured at high speed by the resistor 2a at the downstream side. Thereby, both directions flow rates of the intake air flow are detected with high accuracy and at high speed.</p> |
