<p>PURPOSE: To provide a method for producing a color filter by which superior heat resistance is ensured and the film thickness of picture elements having three primary colors is regulated by heating and can be controlled in 0.1μm range even when the colored photosensitive resin layer of each photosensitive film is not uniform in thickness. CONSTITUTION: A multicolored pattern is formed on a transparent substrate by repeating processes including at least a process (1) for sticking a photosensitive film to the transparent substrate so that the colored photo-sensitive resin layer confronts the transparent substrate, a process (2) for patternwise exposing the film and a process (3) for developing the film and a color filter is produced. In this method, a process (A) for controlling the thickness of the colored photosensitive resin layer by regulating the sticking method in the process 1 is carried out and a process (B) for controlling the thickness of each of colored photosensitive resin layers for the 2nd and subsequent colors is also carried out by heating between the processes 1, 3.</p> |
