The air humidifier has a suctioned and canalised airstream penetrating through a water-moistened evaporator unit (5). The unit is made from at least one porous ceramic block. There may be several ceramic blocks positioned at a predetermined distance behind one another in the direction of the current of air. These blocks may be of varying thickness and porosity.
