<p>PURPOSE: To easily generate characteristic information and also form a magnetic pattern which has large variation in intensity by varying the distribution and orientation of magnetic particles in a binder and fixing the magnetic particles in a characteristic state in that state while bringing the binder into a solid phase state. CONSTITUTION: A microcapsule layer (1st information recording layer) 13 provided on one surface of a base material 11 has many microcapsules 20 dispersed in the binder. The microcapsules 20 are constituted by capsuling core substances consisting principally of a suspending agent made of a binder containing plural magnetic particles. This binder is in the solid-phase state at room temperature (10-35 deg.C) and is a liquid-phase state above the room temperature (40-80 deg.C). In the microcapsule layer 13, magnetic characteristic information is recorded which is specified with the orientation of the magnetic particles and can not be discriminated visibly. This information is read out as an output waveform by a magnetic head, etc., and recorded on a digital information recording part (2nd information recording part) 12 on the other surface of the base material 11.</p> |
