LIVE TAP INSERTING AND PULLING DEVICE

摘要

PURPOSE: To make the power supply voltage of a unit till a main power supply pin is connected approximate an original power supply voltage by providing a rush current preventing circuit which does not depend on the rush current quantity of the unit to insert/pull a live tap so as to prevent the lowering of the power supply voltage of another unit at the time of insert/pull the live tap of the unit. CONSTITUTION: A mother board 1 is fixed with a power supply 2 and connected with the unit 3 by way of a connector 11. The connector 11 is provided with a power supply pin for rush current (long pin) and the main power source pin (short pin) 3a, and the rush current preventing circuit 12 is connected to the power supply pin for rush current. The rush current preventing circuit 12 is composed of a first power feeding route consisting of an electrical resistor and a second power feeding route which allows more current than the first power feeding route to flow through after a current is made to flow through the first power feeding route and the potential of the power supply pin for a rush current rises to some extent.
