<p>PURPOSE: To measure torque with simple constitution. CONSTITUTION: A thin-walled cylindrical member 4 made of nonconductive and ferromagnetic material, and a thin-walled cylindrical member 5 made of conductive and non-magnetic material are disposed being fitted to each other coaxially in a relatively rotatable state with the cylindrical member 4 placed inside. The cylindrical member 4 is integrated in the rotating direction with an input shaft 1, and the cylindrical member 5 is integrated in the rotating direction with an output shaft 2. The cylindrical members 4, 5 are provided with apertures 4a, 4b, 5a, 5b formed so that the overlapped state changes according to the relative rotating positions. The parts with the apertures 4a, 5a formed, of the cylindrical members 4, 5 are surrounded by a coil 10, and the parts with the apertures 4b, 5b formed are surrounded by a coil 11. The self-induced electromotive force of the coils 10, 11 is measured, and torque is obtained on the basis of the measured result.</p> |
