PURPOSE: To provide a drawing device which can perform anti-aliasing without extremely increasing the memory or lowering the drawing speed. CONSTITUTION: This device is equipped with a memory 1 which stores information on end points constituting a polygon and color information, a coordinate conversion processor 2 which converts each piece of end point information from the memory 1 into screen end point information, a drawing process device 3 which finds polygon sizes and Z values on the basis of the polygon end point information from the coordinate conversion processor 2 and performs a hidden- surface process by a Z buffer method, and also calculates the area of each dot on a polygon side, a frame memory 5 which stores color information on each dot on the polygon side, the area of the dot, and the direction of the anti-aliasing, a display processor 6 which computes the color of the dot from the color information, the area of the dot, and the direction of the anti-aliasing stored in the frame memory 5, and a display device 7 which displays the color found by the display processor 6. |
