PURPOSE: To minimize the temporary interruption time of an application processing job to efficiently perform the maintenance of a data base. CONSTITUTION: If the spare data acquisition time is not within the stop limit time of an application processing job 1, a processing means 4 repeats the processing of acquisition of data in the stop state till acquisition of all of data to be acquired or a number of times smaller than a maximum value of the number of times of spare data generation, and if data which has not been acquired exists even though this processing was repeated up to the maximum value, the processing means 4 sets the application processing job 1 waiting for execution to the holding state and temporarily interrupts the acquisition processing and acquires data in the stop state after the end of the application processing job 1. If the spare data acquisition time is within the stop limit time, the processing means 4 temporarily interrupts the execution of the application processing job 1 and acquires data before update with respect to data in the stop state and data being in course of update. |
