PURPOSE: To obtain a pattern classification device which can efficiently retrieve and display an image that may be misclassified with a high possibility when a classification result is reviewed. CONSTITUTION: The pattern classification device 1 has a urinary sediment classification and measurement part 10, a review device 3 having a misclassification retrieving function part 2, and a storage device 4. A particle image inputted by an image input device 11 is stored in an image storage device 12. An image processor 13 performs an area dividing process to extract object particle images and its feature parameters from the stored image. On the basis of the extracted parameters, an arithmetic control unit 14 classifies object particle images and transfers the classification result to the storage device 4. When one of classification results in the storage device 4 is corrected on the screen by the review device 3, the misclasification retrieving function part 2 retrieves the particle image that has a value similar to the feature parameter of the corrected image and may be misclassified with high possibility, so that it is displayed on the same screen. |
