摘要 PURPOSE: To attain extremely excellent starting operation of a system by respectively comparing the total voltage of a fuel cell stack and plural voltages of respective cells with preset voltage, and controlling a voltage operation range at starting on the basis of its result. CONSTITUTION: Reaction gas is made to flow respectively to porous electrodes oppositely arranged on both side of an electrolyte layer, and DC electric energy is outputted by electrochemical reaction. A fuel cell is composed of a fuel cell stack 1 formed by layering this unit cell in a plurality. DC output from this fuel cell is outputted by being converted into an alternating current by an inverter 2. In this fuel cell power generation system, voltage measuring means 5 and 8 are provided, and the total voltage of the fuel cell stack 1 and plural voltages of the respective cells are measured. These measured voltages V1 and Vs1 to Vsn are inputted to a control device 6, and are respectively compared with preset voltage in the magnitude relationship by a voltage comparing means 9. A starting signal (a) is outputted on the basis of this compared result when the V1 and Vs1 to Vsn are respectively not more than overvoltage of a voltage operation ranged and are not less than starting possible minimum voltage.
