PURPOSE: To efficiently provide a lithium-containing positive electrode active material capable of realizing stable charge/discharge characteristics. CONSTITUTION: At least one metal compound selected from nickel, cobalt, and manganese, and a lithium compound are heated and dissolved in water, an organic solvent, or its mixture. An alkali is added to the solution and reacted to produce a lithium-metal coprecipitated hydroxide and a salt. The coprecipitated hydroxide and the salt are filtered, dried, then baked. |
