PURPOSE: To provide a management method capable of collectively and efficiently executing the sales management or the like of plural video rental stores or the like through a communication line. CONSTITUTION: Respective video rental stores 1 (1-1 to 1-n) can be connected to a management company 2 through general public lines 3. When a data transmission request is outputted from the company 2 to each store 1 and the line is connected, the line is temporarily disconnected. Then the store 1 calls the company 2 through a dial Q<2> line and sends sales data, rental data, etc., to the company 2. The company 2 totalizes and analyzes the received data to diagnose the business state or the like of each rental store 1. The dial Q<2> using rate of each rental store 1 is collected as a management charge of each store 1 by the company 2. Since management rate issuing operation to each store 1 is made unnecessary and the distribution and claim of communication cost to respective rental stores 1 also are made unnecessary, efficient management operation can be attained. |
