The support (1) comprises at least two cushion sections (6,7) which are connected via a band (8). The first cushion section (6) is long and has straps (13,14) connected to each of the sides. The cushion sections are made from a shell of flexible material which is filled with a granular material. There may be a second cushion structure of the same material and filling, which is toroidal and connected to the front edge of the first cushion section.
