<p>PURPOSE: To move a cursor fast accurately to an optional position on a screen. CONSTITUTION: A touch panel 10 outputs X-axial position information PX showing all X-axial coordinate values and Y-axial position information PY showing all Y-axial coordinate values according to a depression position on a touch switch part 11 and an X-axial position decision part 20 and a Y-axial position decision part 30 find and output mean values as a mean X-axial coordinate value SX and a mean Y-axial coordinate value SY. A distance calculation part 40 calculates the value L of the distance from a reference point having coordinate values (0, 0) to the depression point having coordinate values (SX, SY). A moving speed adjustment part 60 converts the distance value L into the moving speed value V of the cursor according to a previously set conversion rule. A normalization direction calculation part 50 calculates the ratios of the coordinate values SX and SY to the distance value L and finds the speed component ratio NX in the X-axial direction and the speed component ratio NY in the Y-axial direction. A cursor movement control part 80 controls a display unit 1 and moves the cursor in the direction specified with NX and NY at the speed specified with V.</p> |
