METHOD AND STRUCTURE FOR ISSUING MEDIUM

PURPOSE: To shorten processing time required for medium reissue such as the continuation of a passbook and to simplify a processing starting procedure. CONSTITUTION: A medium issuing machine 7 or the like to be operated by a clerk in an office and an automated equipment (ATM) 2 or the like to be used for transaction by a customer through a medium are arranged in the office and connected to a master computer 9 through a communication control device 8, and when medium reissue is generated during the period of transaction through the ATM 2, the ATM 2 transmits the generation of medium reissue to the computer 9. Simultaneously the ATM 2 informs the customer of the generation and a command for issuing the medium concerned is transmitted from the computer 9 to the machine 7, which issues the medium based upon the command.
