PURPOSE: To obtain a sensitive material excellent in adhesion resistance, conveyability, scratch resistance, antistatic performance, mapping hole, graininess and transparency by incorporating an alkali-insoluble polymer in the form of single-dispersed fine particles having below a specified number average mol.wt., a specified average particle diameter or above and below a specified coefft. of variation. CONSTITUTION: This sensitive material contains an alkali-insoluble polymer in the form of single-dispersed fine particles having a number average mol.wt. of <30,000, >=5μm average particle diameter and a coefft. of variation of <0.1. The polymer means polymer particles having a coefft. of variation (=(standard deviation)/(number average particle diameter)) of <0.1 obtd. by measuring the particle sizes of >=200 particles in a photograph of the polymer particles magnified 1,500 times by a scanning electron microscope and calculating the number average particle diameter and standard deviation. The average particle diameter means number average particle diameter and the alkali-insoluble polymer is a polymer having 1.0g/l solubility to an aq.soln. of pH10 at room temp.
