PURPOSE: To use an existent program and an existent data file by rewriting the degenerative order data in a storage part with a relative value as the difference of order of the data from a reference value. CONSTITUTION: Input information 4 has the file names of an input and an output data file, the position of the degenerative order data in a data record, the number of digits of the degenerative order data, and a reference value. Further, the information has the position of the degenerative order data and the number of digits. Then a program 1 processes the input information 4 through an input information analytic process 8 to obtain the positions of the reference value and items in the data record and their numbers of digits. A data record read process 5 reads data records out of the input file 2, one by one, and passes the contents of degenerative order data items to a data record order rewriting process 6. The data order rewriting process 6 is a calculating process for converting the contents of the items into relative values based upon the reference value. Then a data writing process 7 writes data records, obtained by replacing the contents of the items with the conversion results, to the output data file 3. |
