PURPOSE: To always obtain the excellent property of carrying a member, to suppress thermal expansion for stabilizing a member carrying speed and to deal with the speeding-up of a device by securing stable releasability without surface staining over a long period and preventing slipping between a rotary body for pressing and the member held in a nip part, in the rotary body for pressing. CONSTITUTION: In the device 6 including the rotary body for pressing 11 which is brought into press-contact with opposed members 12 and 10, to form the nip part N and rotationally driven to exert, carrying force on the member P held in the nip part N, the rotary body for pressing 11 is provided with at least a core metal 11a, a releasing layer 11c of an outermost layer and an elastic layer 11b between the core metal 11a and the releasing layer 11c, this releasing layer 11c consists of a resin tube and the surface roughens Ra (center line average height: unitμm) and coefficient of dynamic frictionμof the releasing layer 11c and the rotating circumferential speed V(mm/sec) of the rotary body 11 satisfy the relations ofμ>=1.3×10<-3> V+0.18, when the surface roughness Ra is <0.3μm and 0.37>=Ra×μ>=6.4×10<-4> V+4.8×10<-3> , when the surface roughness Ra is >=0.3μm. |
