PURPOSE: To reduce consumption of a built-in battery by generating a constant voltage higher than a voltage of a battery section with an input from a line power supply section. CONSTITUTION: While a terminal equipment network controller 1 is connected to a telephone line 14, power is supplied to a control section 8 via a diode bridge 2, a line power supply section 12 and a constant voltage section 13. In the case of no ringing communication or communication dialed by a terminal equipment, a battery section 11 supplies power to a MODEM section 5 and a DTMF(dual tone multi frequency) section 6. Furthermore, when the connection to the telephone line 14 is disconnected, power is supplied from the battery section 11 to the control section 8. |
