PURPOSE: To provide a charge circuit for a secondary battery, which prevents the reverse flow of a current from a battery to the side of a charge circuit, and also shortens the charge time by enabling the accurate measurement of battery voltage, and further does not deteriorate the battery due to overcharge. CONSTITUTION: A reverse flow preventive diode 9 is inserted between a charge current control circuit 4, which controls the charge current to be supplied to a battery 1, on the basis of the output of a voltage detecting circuit 3 for detecting the terminal voltage of the secondary battery 1, and the battery, and an FET2 is inserted between the battery 1 and the voltage detection circuit 3, and the control to put FET2 in current-conduction state when the power source 12 for charge is turned on and put it in no current-conduction state when the power source 12 for charge is turned off is performed by means of a switch control circuit 10. |
