PURPOSE: To make it possible to improve the opening rates of respective pixels. CONSTITUTION: A transparent substrate 1 is provided thereon with a chromium film 2 and an aluminum film 3. Next, this aluminum film 3 is provided thereon with first resist patterns having straight edges at the points corresponding to the left side and right side of the apertures of a black mask. The aluminum film 3 is etched to form aluminum patterns 3a with the first resist patterns as a mask. Next, the entire front surface is provided with second resist patterns 5a having the straight edges at the points corresponding to the upper side and lower side of the apertures of the black mask. The chromium film 2 is etched with the second resist patterns 5a and the aluminum patterns 3a as a mask, by which chromium parts are formed. Then, the corner parts of the apertures of the black mask formed of the aluminum patterns 3a and the chromium patterns are so formed as not to be rounded, by which the opening rates of the respective pixels are improved. |
