摘要 PURPOSE: To provide the optical communication system which easily allows the variance of light sources in the system. CONSTITUTION: Each of plural channels consists of a wavelength group of plural wavelengths which have prescribed wavelength intervals. One of plural wavelengths constituting one channel is used for transmission on the transmission side, and light is detected on the reception side by an optical detection means which has (natural number)-fold detection rate peaks of the prescribed wavelength interval. When the wavelength received at a first point of time and another wavelength of a wavelength interval exceeding the detection rate peak interval in the optical detection means of an optical node for reception are received at a second point of time, the detection rate peak different from that for detection of the wavelength received at the first point of time is used to perform the reception. The extent or movement or the detection rate peak for movement from the first point of time to the second point of time doesn't exceed the detection rate peak interval.
