PURPOSE: To provide an image forming device capable of securing operator's safety by immediately discharging and spreading ozone existing in the image forming device outside the image forming device, in the case an error is generated in the image forming device. CONSTITUTION: By providing a fan rotational speed switching means 29 for switching the rotational speed of the fan after the error is detected and a ROM 23 for storing a time for discharging the ozone outside the image forming device, the fan is rotated after the error is generated. And also, by rotating the fan until the ozone concentration in the image forming device reaches such a level capable of securing the operator's safety, the operator keeps away from immediately carrying out the error processing, so that the operator carries out the error processing without absorbing the ozone. |
