A face shield has inner and outer walls forming an evacuation channel from inner wall openings in the nose and mouth region to outlets. The inner wall (8) has a transparent part (9) and has front and side sections. The improvement is that the outer wall is formed by a cover (20) located over the front section and the front regions of the side sections (19) and its sides are connectable to the inner wall (10''). The cover (20) comprises a light transparent front surface (22) and side surfaces connected to it. Also claimed is a method of minimising the mixing of inhalation and exhaled air in a shield. |
