<p>A lubricant oil composition comprising a lubricant base oil blended with (A) sulfoxymolybdenum dithiocarbamate with a hydrocarbon group having 8 to 18 carbon atoms, (B) zinc dialkyldithiophosphate consisting of zinc dialkyldithiophosphate containing alkyl groups which are exclusively primary alkyl groups having 1 to 18 carbon atoms, and (C) succinimide containing boron, wherein to the total amount of the composition, the molybdenum content is 200 to 1,000 ppm (ratio by weight) and the phosphorus amount derived from zinc dialkyldithiophosphate is 0.04 to 0.15 % by weight and the boron amount derived from succinimide containing boron is 0.005 to 0.06 % by weight. The lubricant oil composition of the present invention can exhibit buffering effects by being strongly adsorbed onto the wear face under operating conditions of oil temperatures of medium to low degrees and low-speed rotation, thereby decreasing the coefficient of friction. The present lubricant oil composition is preferably used as lubricant oils for an internal combustion of an automobile engine and the like.</p> |
