<p>Process for fabricating ceramic parts without support comprising the application on a support part of clay having an approximative moisture of 5 %, and pressed and baked in order to obtain a bisque having a water absorption capacity between 5 and 20 %, of a layer of refractory product comprised of 80-90 % by weight of alumina (Al2(OH)6), 5-10 % by weight of kaolin (Al2O3.2SiO2.2H2O) and 0.1-14 % by weight of carboxymethylcellulose, before the application and baking of the enamel layers. The process comprises the following steps, (i) subjecting the edges of the baked part to a first wet scraping treatment by means of rubber discs, followed by a second smoothing treatment with a file; (ii) applying to the baked and polished part a third top layer comprised of a mixture of epoxy resins and clear frits, said application being carried out by spraying. The invention also relates to parts obtained by said process, as well as to applications of said parts.</p> |
