An apparatus for the automatic transport of glass tubes, tubular glass containers, vials and similar objects between individual processing stations of a finishing line with rotating transport gibs is novel in that adjacent pairs of discs are rotatably arranged and driven on the transport gibs in the processing direction. An inner pair of discs (6) is rotatably arranged and driven to position during a processing step and an outer pair of discs (12) to transport the glass containers.
