<p>An insulating device (10) comprises a hollow open housing (11) suitable for receiving sections of electrical cord (12, 13) connected to each other therein, the housing (11) being at least partly made of an electrically insulating material. A lid (14) is provided for closing the open housing (11) to insulate the sections of electrical cord (12, 13) connected to each other therein. The device further includes nipping means (15.1, 15.2) associated with the lid (14) for nipping the sections of electrical cord (12, 13) to the housing (11) and/or lid (14) when the lid is closed.</p> |
