Applying covering layer to moving strip using powder

The arrangement consists of an eddy chamber (2) in which the powder is agitated and applied to the perforated surface of a cylinder (M) or to a belt which runs over a cylinder. A scraper (4) removes surplus powder. The cylinder (M) is mounted on a hollow inner cylinder (K) with jet opening (3) which blows the powder onto a belt (5) which is to be coated by the powder. A suction head (6) removes any remaining powder from the cylinder after it has passed the jet.
