Coupling element for post and transverse profiles or fixed frame

The posts (1) and transverse profiles, or fixed frame (7) of a window system are coupled by an element (5), consisting of a threaded bolt (10) and a screwed-down sleeve (8). The top end of the threaded bolt locates projections (9) engaging suitable bores. Pref. the top of the threaded bolt tapers conically. The coupling element may contain at least one sealing member (11,12). At the top of the threaded bolt, there may be a top thread or a tip, instead of the projections, which is screwed, or pushed into a material block in the post prior to the sleeve screwing-down.
