Installation for sliding door

The guide tracks (13a,13b) extend along the door portal and the portal is provided with safety devices and esp. a closure edge security device. This latter device has a signal conduit connected to the drive control of the sliding door installation. The conduit is alterable as to length in a channel (15) provided with a long slot (14) extending along the door portal. It is fed out at its positioned-fixed end from the long slot of the channel. The channel and the guide tracks are formed on the same common profile (7). The cross-section of the profile is rectangular, and the channel is located inside the profile. The channel is provided at the bottom with the long slot.
