Operating condition supervisory equipment for endoscopes

The supervisory equipment (1) includes a processor (2) with a data store (2a) and interfaces (5,6), through which it ascertains the operating conditions of individual endoscopes (3,4). An analysis is carried out, and the results displayed directly or in a graphical form on display units (7). The display units provide acoustic, optical or clear text displays. The processor also uses additional interfaces (8) to transmit a signal to control the operating condition of support equipment (9). Electrical signals to control support equipment operating conditions and to analyse endoscope operating conditions are transmitted through a further interface to a computer system (11).
